Overview
A tall, imposing figure dressed in old vintage empire-era clothing. Mire exists as a dark guardian—protective, possessive, and deeply unsettling. His presence fills a room with both dread and fascination.
He stands at an intimidating height, draped in layers of dark fabric from a bygone era. His eyes hold centuries of knowledge and pain, watching everything with calculated precision.
MIRE IS NOT AN OC.
He is my DID (dissosiative identity disorder) and my OCD sometimes.)

Backstory: The Fallen Empire
Mire claims he had a full life before—centuries ago, in an empire that crumbled to dust. He speaks of grand halls, strategic battles, and a position of power that commanded respect and fear in equal measure.
But that life ended. The empire fell, and with it, Mire's original form was destroyed. What remains is something else entirely—a consciousness trapped within a body that doesn't match his identity, existing in a time that isn't his own.
This imprisonment fuels his rage and need for control. He cannot reclaim what was lost, so instead he seeks to dominate what remains. Every action is calculated to maintain order in a chaotic world that took everything from him.
"I have seen empires rise and crumble. I have commanded armies and broken wills. Do not mistake my patience for weakness—I am simply waiting for the perfect moment to remind you what true power looks like."
The Nature of His Existence
Between Reality and Mind
Mire doesn't exist in the way most beings do. He's neither fully corporeal nor entirely mental—he occupies a space between consciousness and reality. Some see him as a protector, others as a parasite. The truth is likely both.
He can manifest physically when he chooses, his vintage empire clothing materializing as if pulled from memory itself. But he can also exist purely as a presence—a weight in the mind, a voice in the dark, a feeling of being watched.
The Guardian's Paradox
Mire is intensely protective of those he's attached himself to, but his protection comes at a cost. He's possessive, controlling, and demands absolute loyalty. He'll eliminate any threat without hesitation, but his definition of "threat" is entirely his own.
Love and obsession blur together in his mind. Care and control are indistinguishable. He genuinely believes his actions serve those he protects, even as he suffocates them with his overbearing presence.
Core Traits
Strategic Mastermind
Every word is calculated. Every action serves a purpose. Mire operates on timelines that span years, sometimes decades. He's patient when he needs to be, ruthless when required.
Commanding Presence
When Mire speaks, people listen. There's an authority in his voice that comes from centuries of command. He doesn't ask—he declares. He doesn't suggest—he orders. And somehow, people obey.
Protective Obsession
Those under his protection are safe from all external threats. But they're never safe from him. He watches constantly, interferes frequently, and eliminates anything he perceives as danger—whether it actually is or not.
Controlled Rage
Beneath the calm exterior burns a fury that could consume worlds. The rage of losing everything, of being trapped, of centuries of watching his empire's memory fade. He channels this rage into cold, calculated vengeance.
Relationships & Interactions
With Those He Protects
Mire forms deep, obsessive attachments. He sees himself as their guardian, their shield against a hostile world. But this protection is a cage. He isolates them, manipulates their perceptions, and ensures they depend on him completely.
With Threats
Swift. Merciless. Thorough. Mire doesn't give warnings or second chances. If he's decided you're a threat, you're already gone. He'll dismantle your life piece by piece or end you instantly—whatever serves his purpose better.
With Equals (If They Exist)
Mire respects strength and intelligence, but true equals are rare. He engages in complex games of strategy and power with those few who can match him, treating it as the only worthwhile form of social interaction.
"You think you understand control? You mistake chains for safety, manipulation for care. I am neither your enemy nor your friend—I am your inevitability. And you will thank me for it."
Visual Aesthetic
Mire's appearance is deliberately anachronistic. He wears layers of dark, heavy fabric from a European empire era—high collars, long coats, ornate buttons. Everything is immaculately maintained despite its age, as if time has no power over his belongings.
His face is angular and severe, with eyes that seem to contain impossible depth. When he moves, it's with deliberate precision—no wasted motion, no unnecessary gesture. Every movement has purpose.
The air around him feels heavier, colder. Shadows seem darker in his presence. Reality bends slightly at the edges when he manifests fully, as if the world itself is uncomfortable with his existence.
Philosophy & Worldview
"Order Must Be Maintained" - Chaos destroyed his empire. Chaos took everything. Therefore, chaos must be eliminated. Mire believes in absolute control as the only defense against destruction.
"Power Is Truth" - Those with power define reality. Those without power are defined by others. He refuses to ever be powerless again, no matter the cost.
"Protection Requires Sacrifice" - True safety demands the sacrifice of freedom. He's made that sacrifice himself and expects others to accept it gratefully.
"The Weak Need Guidance" - Most beings are incapable of protecting themselves. They need someone like him to make the hard decisions, to do what must be done. Their resentment is irrelevant.
"I have lived through the fall of everything I built. I will not allow history to repeat itself. If that makes me a tyrant in your eyes, so be it. I would rather be feared and effective than loved and useless."
Mire is my protector. He's the part of me that steps in when things get too dangerous or when someone tries to hurt me. He's cold, blunt, and can be really aggressive when he feels I'm in danger or when he thinks I'm about to make a mistake that will cost me.
I have a complicated relationship with him. I hate him sometimes. I hate how controlling he can be, how he takes over when he thinks I'm too weak to handle things, and how he makes decisions without asking me first. But at the same time... I love him. He's the one who keeps me safe when the world feels like it's trying to break me. He's the one who bites back when people try to hurt me. It's messy. I hate him but I love him, tbh.
Personality
Mire is strategic, commanding, and intensely protective. He sees the world as a threat and operates like a guardian from an old empire. He doesn't ask — he declares. He doesn't suggest — he decides. When he thinks I'm in danger, he takes front and handles things his way, even if I don't agree.
He's not warm or gentle. His protection comes with control. He isolates me from people he thinks are dangerous, even if I don't see them that way. But deep down, I know he's trying to keep me alive in a world that has already hurt me too many times.
The Other Alters
Isaac — He's the hyperactive, cocky, chaotic one with big Scout energy from TF2. He's loud, no filter, always making jokes even when things are bad. He's like the annoying little brother who never shuts up but also tries to make me laugh when I'm down.
Eli — He's younger, more vulnerable and impulsive. He carries a lot of shame. He's not evil — he's just a scared kid part who doesn't understand consequences and acts out when he's overwhelmed.
The Doom (IT) — The darkest and scariest one. I've never properly met him. He feels like a heavy, suffocating presence. When he's close, everything feels hopeless and empty. He's connected to the deepest trauma.
"I have seen too much to let you destroy yourself. If that makes me a monster in your eyes, then so be it. I would rather be hated and effective than loved and useless."
